James has directed, designed, and created visual worlds for three of the greatest directors of our time. James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, and Joe Pytka.
When Miuccia Prada, the inventive and bold genius behind thePRADA fashion empire looked for the right director, she hired James to direct TREMBLED BLOSSOMS, the most ambitious and inspired CG animated fashion film of the decade.
It was no surprise that when Madonna, looking for the right director for a CG animated film, hired James to direct RAIN, the mash-up music video for her Sticky & Sweet Tour.
His latest directorial project “The Love Thing” for Love Magazine once again teamed James with mega Designer Pradaand Editor/stylist Katie Grand to produce the innovative online hit.

For the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, (January 2011) MoMu, the Fashion Museum in Antwerp and Mercedes-Benz, invited Belgian art director Frederik Heymann and 4 fashion designers to create 4 installations.
His decors are built completely by hand, in collaboration with a team of sculptors and artists. In the final results, the handcraft, the construction and consequently also quality craftsmanship are always clearly traceable. Fashion designers Bernhard Willhelm, Peter Pilotto, Henrik Vibskov and Mikio Sakabe have added their own visions to the installations with each 3 new looks.
